
The cost of a wedding before noon at Wilshire is $1,600.00, and the cost of a wedding after noon is $2,200.00.
This donation includes:
- Ceremony in Wilshire's main sanctuary (accommodates from 150-500+ guests)
- Dressing rooms for bridal party
- Wedding Director and assistant
- Organist/Pianist
- Security guard/parking attendant
- White cloth runner for aisle
- Organza, tulle or satin ribbon bows and swag on entire length of aisle
- Unity candle service with your choice of decorated souvenir candle to keep
- Chancel candelabra and candles
- Pre-wedding rehearsal at Wilshire
- Guidance and referrals prior to ceremony
- Optional expenses (at extra cost):
- Honorarium for clergy officiant
- Aisle candles, handrail decor, reception chair back-covers
- Rental of our reception hall
Couples will need to put down a $400.00 deposit at the time of booking the wedding. $200.00 of this deposit is refundable should the wedding be canceled more than 90 days prior to the ceremony. The balance of the deposit may be submitted in installments or in one lump sum, due no later than 30 days before the wedding ceremony. Wilshire United Methodist Church does not accept credit card payments. Final payments arriving less than 30 days before the ceremony must be in the form of money orders, cashier's check or cash. Personal or business checks cannot be accepted less than 30 days before the ceremony.
The Wilshire Fellowship Hall is available for afternoon receptions for a donation of $1,300.00, which is added to the total afternoon wedding package fee totalling $3,500.00. The donation for a morning reception package is $1,000.000, which is added to the morning wedding package fee totalling $2,600.00.
The reception package includes:
- Set up of stage
- Set up of all tables and chairs
- Set up of cake, buffet and other tables
- Microphones
- Spotlights on stage
- Sound system with CD players
- Supervision
- Clean-up help
Ritter Chapel rental donations are $1200 for morning ceremonies and $1500 for afternoon weddings. The package includes a runner, bows on the pews, unity candle service and rehearsals.
Lee Hall, across the breezeway and downstairs, is sometimes available for a Ritter Chapel reception. The donation for its use is $500 and includes setup and take down, sound and use of the built-in stage.
